If you want to sweat, this is the class for you. The Burn is a longer, high intensity CrossFit class. There is no Olympic lifting (so it is great for those who are new to CrossFit) but you will put in plenty of work. This class is ideal for those people who want to loose weight and burn fat.
Work Out of the Day
WOD classes are offered 5 times a day, 5 days a week so no matter what your schedule, you can stick to your training program. Classes are led by a qualified coach and consist of an active warm-up warm up, skill and strength session, and a METCON workout to develop conditioning. Workouts are scaled and personalized for each participant so that even when the whole class is challenged with the same task, the workload and movements can be adapted for people of different abilities. At CrossFit Banff we do not sacrifice intensity for safety – we strive to achieve both.
Strength club is a specialized class that utilizes power lifting, Olympic lifting and gymnastics to develop strength and power. Our certified coaches will lead you through a targeted mobility warm up to prepare the body and optimize lifting mechanics. If you want to increase functional strength, this is the class for you.
